Forrest Decorators are an experienced and professional company who have been in the business of Industrial and Commercial painting since 1905. We have a specialist range of painting and decorating skills and have completed all various types of projects from new build office blocks to restoration of period buildings.
We are members of the Master Painter and Decorators of Ireland, the Construction Industry Federation and have just been awarded the EQA Quality Assured Organisations Certification

Our team
Michael Forrest
Michael Forrest is the managing director and has been involved in the family business for the past 28th years serving his time under his father Denis and uncle Michael Forrest Snr. Like Michael Forrest Snr. he has represented the company on the board of the Master Painters and Decorators of Ireland. Michael has also been president of the Master Painters and Decorators of Ireland working with the association to improve training and progress painting and decorating as a trade.
James Lee
James Lee started serving his time with Forrest Decorators since the year 2000. Since then he has progressed with the business as a foreman on our larger contracts. He now is the company project manager with the responsibility to look after the day to day running of all contracts.
James manages all projects and is responsible for maintaining schedules and works closely with the clients
Barry Forrest
Barry works as a consultant and is company secretary. Barry is one of Ireland’s leading auditing experts with over 30 years experience in this area. Barry holds a BComm from UCD and trained with Pricewaterhouse.
Barry is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a UK Insolvency Licence.
